As Thanksgiving approaches, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community of volunteers, donors and community partners God has provided New Braunfels Christian Ministries. Every day, we see how His love moves through people—each one playing a vital role in sharing hope.

Some serve through hands-on volunteering, walking alongside patients, students, and families. Together, their time and talents represent more than $346,000 in service each year—a powerful reflection of generosity and faith in action.

Our donors share financial resources that equip Volunteers in Medicine and Kids Club to serve our community. Donations from individuals and local businesses play a critical role in supporting the ministry all year long – gifts totaling over $375,000 so far this year.

And still others bless NBCM through in-kind gifts and services that keep ministry running strong. Did you know generous partners provide $954,000 in donated goods and services each year?

  • Oakwood Church — provides our buildings at Kids Club and Volunteers in Medicine rent-free
  • Besson Management Group — faithfully maintains our Kids Club buses
  • J3 Mechanical Services — cares for the AC units at both Volunteers in Medicine and Kids Club through preventative maintenance
  • Comal ISD— makes space available for our onsite Kids Club programs
  • CRRC — provides location for Volunteers in Medicine to serve patients in Canyon Lake

We’re also thankful for community partners who come alongside us in many ways—each helping to strengthen and expand the care we’re able to provide:

  • New Braunfels ISD, Comal ISD, and Communities in Schools — connects students to the support of Kids Club through referrals
  • Connections Individual and Family Services — partnering with NBCM in our behavioral health initiative to offer counseling and hope beginning in January 2026

We’re deeply thankful for every organization and individual who helps make this ministry possible. You can see many of our ministry partners and funders here.

Because of these relationships, patients find healing, children discover their God-given worth, and families experience the tangible love of Jesus Christ.

This November, we thank you—our donors, volunteers, and partners—for being the hands and feet of Christ in our community. Your generosity multiplies possibilities every day.
