Through God’s faithful provision and dedicated donors, volunteers and staff in 2024, New Braunfels Christian Ministries (NBCM) effectively shared the love of Christ by investing in people at Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) and Kids Club (KC).

Staff and volunteers at VIM provided quality medical and dental care at no charge to 758 uninsured adults at nearly 6,750 appointments. The compassionate care provided at these 5,933 medical and 813 dental visits equipped patients to manage chronic conditions, as well as address acute illness.

A key milestone for NBCM came in September, with the opening of the new clinic building. The modern facility has expanded capacity for volunteers and allowed for enhanced patient privacy. It also introduced a dedicated space for patient education, providing further opportunity for VIM to equip patients to take charge of their health.

At KC, 320 elementary students benefited from relationships with caring adults, reading and homework help, Bible stories, and nutritious meals. With a weekly attendance averaging 205, the two-day-a-week after-school program not only focused on academics but also offered spiritual enrichment. Children learned Bible verses and discovered the love of Christ, providing a firm foundation for years to come.

Both VIM and KC are making a meaningful impact in the community, touching the lives of thousands, and fostering growth, health and faith. Explore our website to learn more about how you can get involved as a volunteer or donor.
