What do I need to bring to qualify?
To find out if you qualify as a patient, bring your current driver’s license, current utility bill, and household income (last 4 pay check stubs, last year tax return, food stamp award letter, child support).
Do I need an appt to see if I qualify?
No appointment needed. You can walk in Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 11 am or 2 -4 pm.
Do you accept patients with health insurance?
No. Volunteers in Medicine only provides medical/dental care to uninsured residents of Comal & Guadalupe County.
Are you a walk in clinic?
No walk in appointments made. Please call to schedule an appointment.
How can I volunteer?

Do you see workman’s comp claim?
No. Volunteers in Medicine does not provide care for workman’s comp claims.
Do you accept supplies?
Yes, we will accept most supplies. Please call to ask about specifics or stop by and let our staff look at what you would like to donate.
Do you accept medication?
We accept unopened medication in original packaging. No expired medication accepted.
