The writer of Ecclesiastes says, “that two are better than one, because if one falls, the other can help him up.” And the African proverb reminds us, “it takes a village to raise a child.” I believe both are true.
While at New Braunfels Christian Ministries there is much we can do to serve our patients, students, and families, we know we certainly can’t be all things to all people all the time. Thankfully, we are not alone in our efforts. We are blessed to collaborate with so many wonderful friends and organizations in our community—each bringing their own expertise and talents.
Partners such as Communities in Schools, Seeds of Love, Oakwood Church, MHDD, Christus Santa Rosa Mobile Mammography, and many, many more work alongside both Kids Club and Volunteers in Medicine to truly “multiply possibilities.” When we join forces with others who share our mission to help those in need, our collective impact is undeniably “greater together” than we could ever be on our own.
